Ensuring Affordability
for Individuals and Families
Helping You Through Inflation

In Minnesota today, everyone is feeling the effects of inflation on food, gas, and daily products. Unfortunately, this is having an impact on first-time homeowners, newly married couples, and families. Inflation is also affecting our elderly community, who often depend on their social security benefits to pay bills and buy necessities. It is important that our legislators focus on creating an affordable lifestyle for all Minnesota citizens. Unjust and uncaring spending by our government, including using tax surpluses, is hurting our families and discouraging residents from buying homes and having families.
Providing Family Care
for Unexpected Pregnancies

We need to protect and respect the sanctity of life. A common missed opportunity for legislators is not providing family care. Too often the abortion debate focuses on the legality of the practice and not building faith and motivation for young mothers and fathers who may experience an unexpected pregnancy. The stress of an unexpected pregnancy can lead to marginalization, anxiety, academic challenges, family crises, and financial pressures. Young parents should be reaffirmed that there are alternative choices that will allow them to care for their new child and embrace a culture of life.
Taking Care of Our Elderly Citizens

Our elderly population must also be protected when it comes to financial and health security. Many elderly citizens depend on their monthly retirement payments, social security benefits, and other supplemental incomes for their basic needs. The recent inflation in our country and unmanaged spending by Minnesota shows that too many public taxes are being misused. If they are being misused, they are not needed. Taxable income should no longer include retirement payments, social security benefits, disability benefits, or any other supplemental income for elderly citizens or citizens with disabilities.
